For many, pets are important members of the family. In a survey by the National Association of Realtors, about 61% of U.S. homes own a pet or plan to own one in the near future. Of this number, over half (52%) have commissioned a remodeling contractor for pet-friendly renovations. These projects can range from adding a simple doggie-door to a full perimeter fencing.
